Buissness Reflection

Explain the invention process
  1. Brainstorm ideas
  2. Think how it would work or help people
  3. Survey what people think of the idea
  4. Find out what is the target market
  5. Create or make a prototype
  6. Work out how much it will cost to make/outgoing costs.
  7. How much the consumer will have to pay
  8. Work out your profit after making 100,200,1000
  9. How are you going to package it
  10. Present to Mrs K and Izy
  11. Present to the tough dragons

My most enjoyable part was
Presenting The Snack Packed chair to Izy and Mrs K is well as the class because I liked showing how it worked and answering questions they had.
The hardest part was
Standing in front of the dragons in room 7 because they asked really hard questions that I didn't understand.
If I was to do this again I would
Change my idea and make a different object because the dragons thought it wasn't a good idea.
I have learned how to
Work out GST, Outgoing costs for my product when I was trying to find out how much it cost to make my product.
The most scariest moment
Standing in front of the dragons while presenting my product because I didn't know them and it was very intimidating.
The most boring part
Working out the outgoing cost for my product.
The most embarrassing part
Standing in front of the dragon panel in room 7 because i didn't understand them.
The easiest part was
Making the prototype from the fabric and cardboard boxes and turning it into a Fruit Burst
How did you feel when talking to the Dragons
Very scared and nervous because I never knew them before.
The most breathtaking moment
When Daniel had all the dragons invest in his product.
The most messiest part
Making the fruit burst chair

Lunar park

Lunar Theme Park
When making a Lunar theme park you need to include a cafe, shop, Major and Minor rides, a lake, vending machines pathway's to go from ride to ride and car parks for the people to park their cars. We had a limit of $500,000 to spend for a theme park. After designing our theme park we had to work out how much it was going to cost to run our park each day.
We chose the entrance fee and found out how many people came each day.

Fruit Burst Chair

Fruit burst chair

A Fruit burst chair is shaped into a cube with another different coloured fruit burst on the behind you to support your back when you lean backwards.

The Fruit burst chair comes in different colours with every detail that a normal fruit bust would have. It’s made from wood with fabric surrounding the wood for comfort. Their is another fruit burst which is made from fabric and fluff, it is built with the original fruit burst at the bottom. On the fruit burst there's a hatch which can store your fruit bursts or lollies when wanting a snack without moving.

Fruit burst chairs are no ordinary chair so get yours now!

Buggy reflection

Buggy Reflection

As a group, Matt and I created a Questionnaire about Strollers and with that information it would help us to create our own Buggy.
We went out just before school finished to ask some of the parents to fill in our forms. With that information we entered it onto a form to see our results.

Scatter plot

Scatter Graph:
To create a scatter graph you need all the information you've collected. I made 5 paper planes and added an amount of paper clips onto them. My Assertion is that the more Paper clips you add onto the plane the further it will fly. It turned out that my assertion was correct. If using 2 Paper clips.

My Scatter graph is showing the amount of paper clips and the distance along the bottom. Our graph shows that the plane with 2 paper clips flew the farthest at a whopping 14.57 Metres.
The one that flew the least amount was the plane with 4 Paper clips.

Panagrams

Panagrams

A pangram is a sentence that uses every letter in the Alphabet. Which is very creative, not to long and makes sense

This is my pangram that i created.
The lazy dog lay silently as the quick Brown hippo jumped over the dog, into the funny box.

This is the one i created with my team. It took us 8 mins and 4 sec

The funky stone gargoyle quickly zig zagged and then jumped into a wobbly x-ray booth to test his vision.

Awesome competition and fun!

Book Week Parade

On Friday the 19th the school dressed up into a character from a book. Each class walked around the hall showing off their cool creations to the school and also the judges which were Mrs Hills, Mrs Harwood and Mrs Sandifar. There were 2 winners from the years 1 & 2's, 3 & 4's and  5 & 6's. I thought the best outfit was Gabe from room 6, he dressed up as a Joker.
